Let’s be honest. Many readers love to be extra dramatic in their delivery. Sometimes it’s for engagement or performance, and sometimes it is genuine passion spilling over.

Now let me be clear! I’m not speaking against passion, flair, or authentic expression. Every reader has a different energetic signature, and that’s beautiful. What I am speaking to is the difference between reading for theatrics and reading in service.

My Origin Story: From La Baraja Española to Archetypal Alchemy

When I first began reading, I didn’t start with the traditional tarot deck, I started with la Baraja Española, the Spanish playing cards. There’s no Major Arcana, no lofty archetypes in these cards. It’s direct, explicit, and structured with each card combination having a concrete, specific meaning. That system taught me precision. It trained my mind to look for patterns, sequences, and coded language.

Later, what lit me up most about tarot decks was the imagery, the archetypes, and the symbolic storytelling woven into each card. I began to see not just what the cards meant, but what they were revealing about a person’s energy and how the cards reflected emotional truth, mindset, and manifestation potential.

From there, my readings evolved naturally, blending classical divination with intuitive pattern recognition and deep coaching inquiry. And I now also weave in hermetic Qabbalah concepts.
