5 Tips for a Safe and Effective Spiritual House Cleanse
My family is going to seriously disapprove of me sharing this story and so it’s been somewhat sanitized.

I just got a call at quite a late hour to spiritually cleanse a house… but I’m not ghostbusting at such a late hour LOL!
But this request brought up an old family memory, and reminded me exactly why it took me several years to come back “out” to service the public with home cleanses.
Many years ago, I was drawn to do a cleanse in a family member’s home because of an ol’ masculine presence that was still hanging around. And let’s just say… he wasn’t the greatest man while alive. There’s much history here.
Anyway, I did the cleanse. I felt him. Stomach flipping, and that unmistakable energy when a spirit is looking for a body to borrow. I was protected as I was prepared for the cleansing, but one of my sensitive elder family members (who honestly should not have been in the room) decided to stay close. And sure enough, mid-cleanse, that old masculine spirit mounted her.
Now, keep in mind, most of the women in my family are natural mediums and healers. So suddenly she’s speaking in tongues, not fully in control of her body, and the whole matriarchal line jumps in, and next thing I know, everybody’s mad at me for stirring things up. But Spirit had told me to do the cleanse!
That was one of my early initiations into how real and serious this work can be and why full preparation for all, protection, and respect are everything.
5 Tips for a Safe & Effective Spiritual House Cleanse
1. Know what you’re dealing with. Every situation is different. Make sure you (or the practitioner you hire) have the right tools, allies, and training for the specific energy at hand.
2. Keep sensitives protected or out of the house. If someone is mediumistic or easily influenced by energy, they should not be present. Always protect yourself, too.
3. Open the windows! Let fresh air in so stagnant or released energy has somewhere to go.
4. Cleanse every corner. Spirits and old energy love corners, closets, and under the bed. Don’t skip the hidden spaces.
5. Communicate everything to your practitioner. Be honest about what’s been happening in your home. Report sounds, sensations, leaks, electrical issues, or strange activity. The more detail, the better.
And remember: Spiritualists may quote for the cleanse only. I will divine and spend extra time diagnosing the situation, and that’s additional energy that is billed accordingly.
